Growing up near the countryside, I developed a deep-rooted love for the outdoors. One of my earliest memories is going to stay at my grandmother's house in the countryside. It felt like the middle nowhere, and I was allowed free rein to explore local orchards and lanes with my dog. Here I felt a great sense of freedom and adventure. Horses quickly became a passion, and I later qualified as a riding instructor.
My father's love of diving introduced me to the underwater world, and I spent countless hours swimming, snorkeling and diving. In more recent years I switched my love of water to paddle boarding.
This connection to nature is vital to my adult life, where I found joy in coaching others and supporting them on their personal journeys.
I’ve always enjoyed hearing the plans and big ideas of others, and offering encouragement to help them towards their goals. Training as a coach has allowed me to continue to do this in a constructive and considered way. It is always a privilege to be a part of this process.
I am a coach who will offer clients protected time and a safe space to explore their ideas. I will offer encouragement and enthusiasm for what you want to achieve, whilst encouraging you to look at the situation from different perspectives. Sessions will be non judgemental, and will stretch you out of your comfort zone at a pace appropriate to you as an individual. You will be encouraged to dig deeper into your goal, to ensure you come away from the sessions with an outcome that suits your values and strengths as an individual.
My strengths as a coach include offering enthusiasm and encouragement for clients goals, and an underlying positivity that they will find a way forwards. I am naturally curious, and will use this help clients explore their goals in a variety of areas. Having worked in wellbeing for a number of years, I am comfortable with uncomfortable situations. This allows me to help clients work within the stretch zone that is vital for effective coaching. This allows a trusting, non judgement arena, for clients to work through areas where they might currently be stuck. I also bring a holistic view point to coaching, ensuring that clients keep in mind their own wellbeing, and potentially the wellbeing of others, in pursuit of their goal.
